Roy Heale relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2008 and is extremely involved in the South American travel industry. He is a Director of the Cámara de Comercio Gay Lésbica Argentina (Argentina Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce), Ambassador for Pink Point Buenos Aires,  and spends his time traveling to research his stories about South American LGBT culture. He specializes in gay travel to Buenos Aires and other Argentine destinations.

He  was born, raised and educated in London, England but spent  forty years living in Canada. His work experience has been in all levels of advertising, marketing, public relations, and publishing. As the Founder and Publisher of Outlooks Magazine in Canada for over eleven years he became an international travel journalist.

Upon his first visit to Argentina he learned very quickly that travel to Buenos Aires is increasing amongst the LGBT community and decided to relocate to this city for semi-retirement.

Now, as a resident Porteno, he occupies himself as a freelance travel journalist who opens his new home to fellow travelers as a gay bed and breakfast in Buenos Aires.  He is an active member of the Travel Media Association of Canada , IGLTA and  Travelwriters.com with his stories published around the globe.

While staying as a guest at his exclusively gay bed and breakfast in Buenos Aires learn more about, or view his photos from Mendoza, Iguazu Falls, Mar del Plata, Bariloche, and other destinations in Argentina. Plus his experiences in Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil provide an insight into more of South America. He is happy to assist with advice and travel arrangements to other destinations.
